Bears Ears National Monument protects some of the most treasured native artifacts and lands in southeastern Utah. It contains many areas that outdoor enthusiasts were already beginning to discover. Thanks to its preservation, these areas are now safe from development and short-term private interests. Areas such as Valley of the Gods, among many others, will finally have the protection they deserve, making travelers from all corners of the world happy.
